Holistic Nutrition Toronto
Well, not only are we grateful for winning the gold category for the Toronto Star Reader’s Choice awards 2021, but we are so pleased to share that our best holistic nutritionist Toronto won the diamond category for a second year in a row! A big thank you to all of those who voted. This honour of winning in the nutritional services category attests to the dedication and quality of our holistic nutrition in Toronto.
Again, we do love that team approach to everything as we find this offers patients the best care. Our nutritionist works with our naturopathic doctors to provide dietary plans based on their recommendations. While we do have some set plans in place to guide you through many digestive concerns, we also offer the option to have a plan created that is customized to you and your lifestyle.
- Diabetes, obesity, allergies, food intolerance, chronic stress, PMS, high blood pressure, constipation, migraines, chronic sinus infections, acne, high cholesterol, reoccurring urinary tract infections, heartburn and acid reflux or inflammatory bowel disease? You’re not alone. If you’re tired of coping with these issues and are ready to change your diet, it’s time to book an appointment with a holistic nutritionist.
What Holistic Nutritionists Believe
- Ultimately, the cells in our bodies are built from the raw materials we consume. If we make suitable choices about the kinds of foods we eat —depending on what our particular needs are — we will build better cell structures.
- Because every person is bio-chemically unique, it’s important to assess nutritional imbalances and weaknesses on a personal, case-by-case basis.
- An ROHP or RNCP will introduce new dietary habits, taking into account the most up-to-date nutritional breakthroughs and findings, but it isn’t always possible to achieve optimal health with food alone. As such, we are also trained to design personalized dietary supplement programs.
- When constructing a nutrition program, we take into account environmental pollution, metal toxicity, allergies, an overgrowth of harmful bacteria (a micro-organism imbalance) and food sensitivities, among other factors.
We Make Proper Nutrition Easy
It can be difficult to decipher what nutrition you need, what foods you should eat and other, similar bits of information. We can help. Our nutritionist will create a customized eating plan that takes into consideration your unique needs and challenges. We understand foods aren’t one dimensional and you can get nutrition from different sources. We don’t make you starve or completely avoid foods you love. There are better ways to eat healthy.
We Understand Weight Is an Emotional Issue
When you schedule an appointment with our certified holistic nutritionist, they aren’t just going to look at what you are eating. We take the time to treat your entire person and make sure you are seeing physical changes you can handle emotionally. Emotional eating is real and we can help you overcome it.
The World Health Organization states, “Good nutrition – an adequate, well balanced diet combined with regular physical activity – is a cornerstone of good health. Poor nutrition can lead to reduced immunity, increased susceptibility to disease, impaired physical and mental development, and reduced productivity.”
Our modern lives are busy, stressful and complicated. These facts of life often lead us to make less than ideal food and lifestyle choices. Disease hits us and soon we’re coping with bothersome and even painful, life-altering symptoms. Chronic pain or fatigue may even start to feel normal.
With so much conflicting information available on the internet (i.e., is fat healthy, or not?), and with healthy diet trends constantly changing, it is hard to know what foods to eat, and which ones to avoid. A Registered Holistic Nutritionist helps identify these problems and makes detailed, unique plans to help individuals restore their health.
Nutritionists are trained to recognize the symptoms of food intolerances and poor digestion, as well as pinpoint how these symptoms vary from person to person. Consuming key nutrients can even help individuals with debilitating diseases manage their symptoms and enjoy fuller, happier lives.
When you hire our certified holistic nutritionist in Toronto, ON, you will find they provide you with actionable advice that will help you learn how to take care of your body, both inside and out. From exercise and diet considerations to nutrient supplements, our nutritionist will look at your overall health, not just a single disease or concern.
