What to expect
The goal is to help people to become empowered by using a solution-oriented approach to allow for transformation. This is different from classical psychotherapy in that we are not looking or “unpacking the past”. The main focus is a mind-body view that brings your nervous system into balance, finds ways to initiate healthy habits, and set you up with a positive mindset.

We always start with an initial appointment to ensure a holistic approach to your health is used, this includes a detailed medical history, reviewing any medications you may be taking, and discussing natural alternatives to support your mental well-being. We’ll also talk about simple, sustainable lifestyle adjustments that can enhance your healing journey.

We end each appointment with lifestyle changes - such as sleep, diet or exercise habits. Then we talk about training you will need to do at home for the next week or month on how to better manage the nervous system with both mindset changes and habits. For example, if a person is always in “Go” mode we might change exercise to be more Yin based and start daily monitoring of the body to notice the high intensity nervous system. Additionally, we might add in calming herb and supplements and bring in acupuncture, all do direct the body to a new state of healthy living.
